Wet Wigglers
The American Red Cross Parent and Infant / Preschool swimming program promotes water safety knowledge and water adjustment. This course builds basic water safety skills for both parents and children, helping infants and young children ages 6 months to 3 years become comfortable in the water so they are willing and ready to learn to swim. These basic skills include adjusting to the water environment, showing comfort while maintaining a front or back position in the water, and demonstrating breath control, including blowing bubbles or voluntarily submerging under water. Parents should register their child for these classes in person at the DRC. A birth certificate is required to establish age.

Please meet on the bleachers in the pool area before each class.  Bring two towels for the little ones, as we ask everyone to take a shower before class. Ages 6 months to 3 years.  7/4 is a skip date with a 7/7 make-up date.
