School's Out Day Camps

Camp DRC

No school?  No problem!  Grades K-5th can spend a fun-filled day with your friends as we keep you entertained with many different activities including games, crafts, and a dive in the pool.  Bring a sack lunch, swimsuit & towel each day. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided.

Weekly themed day camps including crafts, games, field trips and more for ages 11-14.  Sign up for one week or all! $75 per week.  Camp is 10am-2pm and held at the Hubbard Arts Center.

June 6-11 "Up & Atom"
Life is full of slippery, slimy, gooey stuff.  Campers will do daily experiments, make small catapults and dive into chemical reactions.  This camp will also take a field trip to Exploration Place.

June 16-18 "Just Wing It"
Bugs, flowers, rocks and sun!  These are only a few things that await the camper that loves being outside.  Campers will visit area parks and also travel to Botanica.

June 23-25 "Live & Learn"
Do you know how to jump start a car, check the tire pressure or even how to do your own laundry and cook a basic meal? If not, this camp is for you.  Camper will learn basic car care, self defense, basic cooking and much more.  We will also be volunteering one day during the week.

July 7-9 "Game Master"
Board, yard, computer and video games!  We will learn and explore all types of gaming options.  We will be taking a field trip to The Arcade.

July 14-16 "Whatever Goes"
Let’s take it back to the basic of Old Fashioned Summer Camp.  We will take field trips, go swimming, do multiple craft projects and games!

July 21-23 "Lil Sketch"
Spend a week getting creative.  Dive into your creative side and see what personal artistic side you like.  The campers will dabble in painting, drawing, sewing, and much more.  Field trip to local art museums.

REGISTRATION FOR RECREATION STATION MUST BE DONE AT THE DERBY RECREATION CENTER.  PLEASE PRINT THE REGISTRATION PACKET FOR RECREATION STATION FOR EACH CHILD AND HAVE COMPLETED WHEN ENROLLING.

Recreation Station

REGISTRATION is accepted at the Derby Recreation Center.  Registration packet must be completed prior to enrolling. Download registration packet

This promotion is only offered to full paying registrants.  Scholarships do not apply to this promotion.**

Recreation Station is a summer program for USD 260 students in grades K-5th grades (2019-2020 school year) and will be held at The Hubbard Arts Center for 2020. Sign up week by week or for all 9 weeks.  Camp is held Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm. Children are grouped according to the completed grade of the previous school year. All camp instructors are CPR and First Aid Certified. 

Precamp Days: May 27-29
Summer Camp: June 1-July 31
Fee: $21 per day for the Pre-Camp; $105 per week / $945 for all 9 weeks.  

Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis. Payment must be made in order to complete enrollment. Payment plans are available for those paying for all 9 weeks.
