Indoor Track

GENERAL INFORMATION

The 1/10 mile track is above the gymnasium and has three lanes for walkers and joggers alike. There are ample areas with mats for stretching and light workouts. 

10 laps = 1 mile.

TRACK RULES

  • The track shall be used for running and walking activities only.
  • Spectators are not allowed to stand along track to watch gym activities.
  • Children under eight (8) are not allowed on the track unless enrolled in an organized program.  
  • Children eight (8) to ten (10) must be accompanied by an adult 16 or older to use the track.
  • Strollers are not allowed on track.
  • Before entering track, look both ways and safely merge without interfering with other participants.
  • Runners must stay on the outside, walkers on the inside.
  • Follow directional arrow.
  • No sprinting or racing is allowed.
  • No climbing, standing, or sitting on railing or wall.
  • No food or drink is allowed on track– water bottles are only exception
